Unique and particular majolica plate/centerpiece; the plate, titled “City of Vases “was executed between 1990 and 1992 by artist Gian Luigi Costa who printed the plate by hand on a plaster mold, after the first firing, the skilled decorator Raffaella Costa executed the original design on white enamel. After the second cooking at 960 degrees, he added the third-fire colored lustres, with the final cooking at 700 degrees. The dish is one piece.
