Decorative Thangka is an original colored artwork realized in Nepal in the XX century. Gouache on line. This beautiful artwork represents a central mandala flanked by numerous bodhisattvas in a stylized landscape. Good conditions except for crease-shaped, slightly rubbed, without color in a small round part bottom upright. Wrinkles of the fold. Thangka is a Tibetan Buddhist painting on cotton, silk appliqu, usually depicting a Buddhist deity, scene, or mandala. Thangkas are traditionally kept unframed and rolled up when not on display. Thangka serves as an important teaching tool depicting the life of the Buddha, various influential lamas and other deities and bodhisattvas.
