Large bronze subject with brown patina signed Charles Anfrie (1833-1905) on a base embellished with a plaque engraved with the inscription: “Good fishing”.
Recognized sculptor of the 19th century, Charles Anfrie produced here a harmonious work representing a smiling young boy, holding firmly in his left hand the three fish he has just fish. The proud and right child shows his feat with the index finger of his right hand.
Charming and bucolic, this large bronze will delight by its candor and its meticulous details.
