Description
Very beautiful and rare Art Nouveau solifleur vase by mile Gall, Nancy, France. Multi-layered glass colored with colored powder, which was given this wonderful three-dimensionality through etching technology in various steps. The motif is the Glycines Wisteria plants, which are shown in purple and twine around the vase. The vase is signed with the *Gall signature, which allows this classic to be classified in the production period from 1905-1908. The height is 10 cm, the maximum diameter is 5.5 cm. Very good condition. On the inside of the neck you can see an elongated “line”. This is not a crack, but an elongated air bubble in the glass, which is open to the inside at one point and is slightly darker due to use over the decades. It’s not noticeable from the outside and, as mentioned, is production-related.
In addition to the commonly known larger vases, a beautiful and rare addition to the collection.
