Description
This high-quality Art Deco glass vase was designed by Karl Wiedmann for WMF in Germany. In the 1920s, WMF developed the so-called ‘Ikora’ technique. with this surface finishing for metal and glass, particularly artistic results could be achieved by discoloring the materials. This technology was developed by WMF based on traditional Japanese models and later protected as a trademark.
