Description
This Erbacher Erzeugnis folding armchair is a German production from the 1940s from the Heinrich Hammer workshops in Ulm. Heinrich Hammer is a manufacturer specializing in the production of wooden sports accessories, notably tennis rackets and skis, which requires perfect mastery of techniques related to working with curved wood. The workshops will also produce a small production of furniture, particularly school furniture. Featuring dynamic, supple and sporty lines in a very marked Art Deco style, this armchair is upholstered in a beautiful orange, green and yellow bayadere fabric.
The armchair is in very good condition, it dates from the 1940s. Folding, it is intended for both indoors and outdoors. The woodwork and assemblies are remarkable. The base is sled type, all round. The Erbacher Mbel label is still present. The deckchair is perfectly functional, its lines are magnificent. Some traces of use are visible on the fabric and the armrests.
51 to 66cm wide, 43 to 70cm deep, 40cm seat height and 85cm total height. 68cm armrest height.
