Antique Japanese wooden Urushi dough bowl from the Meiji period around 1900. Beautiful bowl made from 1 piece of wood that was used to make dough. It is painted red on the inside and green on the outside. Over the years it has acquired a wonderful patina through use. An authentic and timeless interior object from Japan, perfect to use as a fruit, vegetable or nut bowl.
