Description
A beautiful and rare antique childrens rocking chair in solid bentwood. This has a perforated design on the back and seat and has a really great rocking motion. The rocking motion is fully functioning and this would make a wonderful piece for a childs nursery (if not for a child to sit on it would be a lovely seat for teddies or dolls!) or as decor around the home.
We believe this is of American origin from the late 1900s, It has wear that you would expect from an item this age in the form of scratches and knocks as well as there being a few splits in the layers of the bent wood seat, but the patina adds charm to the chair. It has been given a fresh polish. Please see all pictures of condition.
