Description
Rare vintage ceramic vase Horses by manufacture Egisto Fantechi Maioliche Ceramic made in Italy in the 1940s. The company was founded in 1896 by a group of talented artists, including Egisto Fantechi. In 1905, after several years of collaboration, Egisto, who was the only true businessman in the group, took matters into his own hands and purchased all the other partners’ shares. After gaining full control, he renamed the company Manufattura Egisto Fantechi. To maintain its recognizability, he kept the compass symbol within the company’s shield. The company continued until 1961, when it closed its doors for good.
The vase has the original manufacturer’s label.
The vintage vase is in excellent vintage condition, with no damage.
