The Grinder pattern is cherished in Poland with great sentiment. It used to adorn our grandmothers’ tableswe remember fresh flowers from the garden in vases decorated with the Grinder motif and festive compote in bowls with the same pattern. In our childhood, we were treated to candies from bonbonnieres and baskets decorated with the Grinder, which delighted us with magical, luminous reflections.
