Description

Dimensions 86 x 37 x 43 (Lx D x H)

Elegant, reduced cabinet from the B series by Behr, designed by Dieter Waeckerlin in the late 1950s with two drawers. The cabinet is designed in an evenly grained teak veneer on the outside and lined with maple veneer on the inside. The elegantly proportioned piece of furniture stands on a black steel frame.

Very nice restored condition. The furniture is freshly painted and shows only a few signs of wear on the outside, such as minor scratches and dings, some abrasion on the frame.

Dimensions 86 x 37 x 43 (Lx D x H)

Elegant Dieter Wckerlin case with black metal base. Inlay made of maple. The night stand comes in teak veneer with two drawers.

Waeckerlin was a cabinet maker, interior architect and furniture designer from Switzerland. His mid-century furniture is characterized by a puristic design language, especially visible in his famous sideboards. He developed furniture systems with Le Corbusier and became known for his collaboration with manufacturer Behr in Osnabrck.

The case comes in wonderful refinished condition with only minor traces of use, some light scratches, some very tiny marks on the legs, nothing that detracts.
