Description
A beautiful antique Japanese Meiji Period bronze temple lantern light. Circa 1890.
Converted to electric, re-wired and PAT tested, a plug has been added to show it in working order.
The lantern has had a repair to the door, having part of the frame remade and this foliage panel is partly missing. Please refer to the photographs.
Verdigris patination with age. The chain length is 45cm, the length of the cable is 130cm.
