Description
Rare metal bed from the opera stages for the play Faust, the metal bed was designed and built for a stage set. The sturdy metal frame made of round steel and square steel was welded to a metal grid that served as a slatted frame. Images showing that the beds come from the opera are available and can be proven via catalogs. A total of 10 beds are available.
The opera Faust was in a prologue and four acts. The poems are by Charles Gounod, libretto and by Jules Barbier and Michel Carr.
