Description
First edition VP1 flowerpot pendants in excellent condition. 3 Lamps available. Designed by Verner Panton in 1969 Manufactured by Louis Poulsen, Denmark.
The lamps consist of an orange enameled lampshade consisting of two half spheres facing each other. A concern of Verner Panton while designing most of his lamps was to avoid direct light contact with the eyes. In this particular case, he conceived a cup covering the light bulb which reflects the light on the larger shade which bounces a soft light downwards. These lamps are marked with the original stickers. They are in very good condition and in working order. Original orange fabric wire and porcelain socket.
