Masterfully crafted brass tray featuring an oval shape with a gracefully contoured, hand-hammered edge. Manual operation and stamped for authenticity. The hammered decor and profiled edge enhance its unique charm. This exquisite tray, designed by Lars Holmstrm, was meticulously handcrafted in solid brass in Arvika, Sweden, during the 1940s. Created in his own workshop, Firma Lars Holmstrm. Engraved: Firma Lars Holmstrm, Arvika ABOUT LARS HOLMSTRM Lars Holmstrm, a renowned metalworker from Arvika, achieved significant recognition after showcasing his works at the 1925 Paris exhibition. Awarded numerous medals and praised by French critics, his contributions extended to large chandeliers and sacred pieces for churches, as well as public buildings in Sweden and France. The Arvika workshop, under his guidance, also produced smaller, meticulously crafted items available to the discerning public.
