Polar Bear Nora came to Zoo Prague from Circus Karlas in 1932. It was ten years after the premiere of the famous film “Nanuk, man primitive”, six years after Roald Amundsen flew through the Norge North Pole, four years after the first book embarked on Based on the narrative of Jan Eskyme Welzla (while the next gradually followed) and also four years after the wrecking of Polar Research Airship Italia, the Czech physicist Frantiek Runounek was also Czech physicist. So everyone has heard about polar bear, and finally they got the opportunity to see him.
