The designer of this folding stool is unknown as is usual for most Campaign furniture, what is certain is that the project is certainly older than the mid-20th century modern, the period in which what we are offering you was produced. Light and at the same time stable. Brilliant the mechanism that with just two screws, allows the structure to close completely, incorporating the resistant leather seat, and to shoulder it like a rifle. Designed for hunting, but I will not forbid you to use it for painting “en plein air” or for a picnic. This item harks back to the English hunting tradition, to the comfortable Safaris of Ralph Lauren’s advertising campaigns of the 80s, to the elegant and luxurious Campaign furnitures by Herms. The item is in good vintage condition. The wooden part has been completely restored while the leather, treated with a specific product to hydrate and preserve it.
